my little cheeky boy

for the 1st time, my boy walked towards me. Even it's only a few steps and he walked very fast to avoid falling down, i was so happy. Now Remy can sing 'Elmo's song', even just making similar sound, it makes his daddy feel so happy too.

Remy had been bothered by his absclessss for almost 2 mths. He had his first operation in early July. almost one month after the operation, he had the 2nd absble again. this time it's at the other side of his butt. we were very worried and immediately we brought him to see his doc the next day. However, after finishing his anti-biotic, the abscle became smaller but it's still there. So, we tried on Chinese sensei and Remy started to take Chinese medicine, in powder form. it's easier to feed him with Chinese herds than the Western med, at least he won't lose weight and he could eat with his cereal (he is really a Chinese baby, prefer to take Chinese med than Western med and only drinks warm water). We had been taking care of him very carefully. however, when he almost got well, i fed him with ikan bilis flavour cereal, the abscle suddenly became very big. we were not sure it's because of the cereal, or he lacked of sleep (we went out to stay at Federal Hotel for 1 night and Remy was super excited until couldn't have his good rest) or his teething matter. We went back to sensei again the next day. till now, his condition has became better n better. phew... at least we are relieved now. planning to bring him to swimming pool next month after his birthday. he has stop swimming for almost 6 months, due to his 1st fever and abscle matter, and most importantly, the swimming tub couldn't fit him anymore! hehee

Next month, he will be 1 year old. we plan to let him wear shoes and he should be able to walk by then :)

my little boy, mommy wishes you grow in good health, stay happy and positive as the way you are now. never give up trying new things, but must take care of your own safety ya! *V*

time flies~~~

it has been almost 3 mths that i did not leave any foot print here...lol...this is the outcome that i have foreseen as i know i will not have so much time to leave remy's growing foot prints here...especially when my son is so super active... :)

tomorrow remy will be exactly 8 mths old. now he can crawl so fast, learning how to stand. In fact, he can stand so well with support. 2 days ago, he just had his first fall down. He was trying to stand by holding the coffee table, suddenly just slip off and he fell on the table corner and cut his inner upper lip. Blood came out and i felt so scared cos this is the 1st time i saw my son bleeding. but after i had cleaned up for him, he was okay and started to suck and swallow his own blood... next minute, he started his standing learning work again! Never scare of falling down! In his mind he now is standing standing n standing! Even in the middle of the night, he will just wake up and standing. HB said for sure he was dreaming of he is standing too! :)

1st trial class in tumbler tots! after been trained, the next day became superbaby, flying down from his baby cot!

Babysitter Vs Mommycare

Today i just heard from 8.30pm news: 1yr old baby girl was raped by babysitter's son several times front & back! The mother was crying while telling the incident. How sad is that!

As a mother, we do hope the best for our kids. However, nowadays, most of the parents are working to earn better future for their kids. They have no choice but to let their little ones taking care by babysitters. Some are lucky to get a good babysitter some are not.

This is the very first reason why i become WAHM. Many many years ago, when i was still working for big company, climbing up the corporate ladder, i would always think: what will my life be when i have a kid? Then, some pictures would come out: go back late (earliest will be 6-7pm), pick up my kid from baby sitter or not at all if i let my kid be taken care for day and night, tired, no time to accompany my kid...not the life that i want! I want to watch my kid growing, knowing every single details, enjoy my life with my family and not live to work!

Of course, taking care of my little Remy myself, i will not have my private time or less freedom unless my mom comes down from Seremban to take care of Remy for few days. I must bring him everywhere i go! However, watching him grow and becoming sticky to me is fun and priceless!

Yesterday, he had learnt his first move to crawl: lifted up his body a little bit using his hands, his legs were lifted up too, higher than his hands, and then he pushed his legs! First jump! Too fast and there was no 2nd time! I was unable to take the photo!

Today, he had mastered the skill better, lifted up his hands and legs, swinging front and back! Ho ho ho! Just looked like a frog! So funny and he enjoyed it! He would just practice this new learning skill everytime when he woke up! So hardworking!

And today he had his first taste of orange! He showed a funny face after tasting the orange. Just a little bit of orange juice as adviced by his doc.

And and he was sucking his toe while watching his baby vcd!

I will not see all these if Remy is taking care by babysitter. I'm so lucky and so is Remy.

Be good, Remy. I want you to grow up in the environment full of love. :)

starting a blog...

i've been encouraged by my good friend to write my own blog. I want to start for so long, maybe it's a trend, everyone has their own blog, especially my own sister. It seems that i'm out dated for so long. Actually if not because of my baby, i won't play Facebook (not so often), i won't shop online, i won't start my own online shop and i won't even write a blog! Because of him, i did a lot of things that i never ever plan or think of before! I think most of the moms have the same feeling.

Today he is 5 mths and 1 day old. Sleeping soundly now. Today he had great respond when i played the hand puppet to him. Feel so good when seeing him laughed. This is the laugh that worth everything.
